Product Description: Gujarati Dal is a quintessential lentil soup from Gujarat, India. It's prepared by cooking pigeon peas (toor dal) until soft and then tempering it with mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves, green chilies, asafoetida, and sometimes a touch of sweetness from jaggery or sugar. The resulting dal is mildly sweet, tangy, and pairs well with rice or Indian breads like roti or puri.
